There are eight equipment slots: head, necklace, armour, right hand, left hand, ring, boots and garment. A helmet or earrings fill the head slot; capes use the garment slot. The left hand can hold a shield, a Trojan second weapon or an Archer quiver, subject to weapon restrictions.

Quality scales the base attack, defence and dodge values shown below. Magic defence percentage uses a different rule: each quality step adds one percentage point when the item has magic defence. Read the item tooltip for its final stats.

QualityMultiplier
Normal× 1.00
Refined× 1.055
Unique× 1.105
Elite× 1.25
Super× 1.40

Plus Stones raise eligible equipment from +0 to +9 at the artisan. Successive steps cost 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 and 34 stones.

Plus bonuses depend on the item type and tier. A +9 bow, armour and necklace receive different bonuses. The item tooltip shows the result for that piece; there is no single bonus table that applies to all equipment.

Eligible equipment holds up to two sockets. Opening the first costs one DragonBall and has a 20% failure chance; the second costs three and has a 50% failure chance. Failure spends the DragonBalls but leaves the equipment unchanged. Gem grades are Normal, Refined and Super, with effects worth ×1, ×1.5 and ×2. Compose three matching gems to obtain one of the next grade.

Tier upgrades preserve quality, plus, sockets and gems. Earlier upgrades cost Meteors, and the final tier upgrade costs one DragonBall. The artisan exchanges 40 Meteors for one DragonBall.

Equipment loses durability through use and stops contributing stats when broken. Repair cost depends on how much durability is missing, up to a quarter of the item buy price for a fully broken piece. Dyeing costs 50 Meteors, and changing the glow colour costs one DragonBall.

Health potions restore 150, 500 or 1,500 health; mana potions restore 80, 300 or 900 mana. Stronger hunting areas drop stronger potions. Carry arrows for your bow, and refill the quiver before it runs out.
