Agreement

Genesis operates the website, launcher, and game. By creating an account, downloading the launcher, or using the website or game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Genesis.

Accounts

• Provide an email address you can access and keep your sign-in details secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you report unauthorized access promptly.
• Do not sell, transfer, impersonate, or obtain accounts through deception or unauthorized access.

Conduct

You must not:

• Use cheats, unauthorized automation, exploits, or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage.
• Attack, disrupt, reverse engineer for abuse, or attempt unauthorized access to the website, launcher, servers, or another account.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or deliberately interfere with another player.
• Use Genesis for unlawful content or activity, or violate another person's rights.
• Exploit a defect instead of reporting it when the defect could damage the service, its economy, or other players.

Beta service

Genesis is in beta. Features, balance, maps, characters, progression, and stored data may change. Genesis may patch, reset, limit, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service. Availability and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed.

Virtual items and currency

Characters, items, gold, ranks, and other in-game records are part of the service. They have no cash value and do not give you ownership of game data or server records. Genesis currently has no subscription or cash shop. Genesis may correct, remove, or restore virtual records when needed to fix a defect, reverse abuse, or protect the game economy.

Genesis, Conquer Online, and third-party assets

Genesis is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with TQ Digital Entertainment, NetDragon, or Conquer Online. Conquer Online and related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Genesis owns the original material created for the project. Genesis does not claim ownership of every asset included in the project. Some names, trademarks, audio, artwork, or other material may belong to third parties and remain subject to their owners' rights.

If you are a rights holder and believe material used by Genesis infringes your rights, identify the work, the material at issue, where it appears, and how to contact you. Genesis will review the report and may remove or replace the material.

Suspension and termination

Genesis may restrict or close an account that violates these terms, threatens the service or another player, uses unauthorized access or automation, or creates legal or security risk. Access may also be restricted while a report is investigated.

Disclaimers and liability

Genesis is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Genesis is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use Genesis. These terms do not limit rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Changes and contact

Genesis may update these terms when the service or its rules change. Continuing to use Genesis after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
